ipacutil - I-PAC keyboard encoder configuration utility
SYNOPSIS
ipacutil [-h] [-v] [-d] [-n] [-b
board_num
] [-c
config_file
] [-w
config_file
]
DESCRIPTION
ipacutil
programs I-PAC keyboard encoders attached to the system.
- -h, --help
-
Print program usage help
- -v, --verbose
-
Turn on verbose mode
- -q, --quiet
-
Turn on quiet mode (only print errors)
- -d, --detect
-
Attempt to detect connected I-PACs
- -n, --no_program
-
Don't program the I-PAC. This is probably only useful with the -d
or --detect flags
- -b board-num, --board board-num
-
Program the specified board. Valid board numbers are 1 or 2. The
default is 1 (1st board)
- -c config-file, --cfg config-file
-
Use the specified config file to program the I-PAC. See also
- -w config-file, --write_cfg config-file

Write a default config file to the specified file. The defaults
correspond to the function when the MAME jumper is on. See also
ipacconf(5)
BUGS
Not tested with USB connected I-PACs. Only tested on i386s with
PS/2 keyboard ports.
Non-i386 support requires kernel patch (see source)
EXAMPLES
- To detect connected I-PACs, try:

ipacutil --detect --no_program
